Understanding Swiftcast
so from my understanding in the tooltip the next cast is supposed to be an instant. however after i use Swiftcast and then use something like Medica or Raise or anything that needs to be channeled. it still brings up the cast bar. the spell does not actually go instantly. the cast bar just goes very very quick. like a blink of an eye quick.
i have had several times wasted a Swiftcast use, because the spell is interrupted. what is going on here? why is Swiftcast not truly instant? why can a spell still be interrupted?

You'll have more chance to get an answer in the appropriate section no?
-
Maybe it's only you.
I've never seen any cast bar after Swiftcast.
-
I have never experienced this. Swiftcast has always granted my next spell an instant cast. Are you sure you are using Swiftcast and not Surecast?
-
When I use Swiftcast the next spell is instant, it might bring the casting bar but is so fast that it wont matter I can even cast Medica II while running if i'm using Swiftcast and never i have never been interupted unless paralyze have the best timing to kick right after i press the spell, which is very unlikely.

i am 100% positive it is swiftcast. it says swiftcast and it says instant. also i CAN cast while running. but still yet at times Swiftcast has been wasted cause the cast was interrupted. which shouldn't even happen. cause the spell shouldn't even be channeled. it is just so confounding. i really don't understand what is wrong this thing. maybe it is just the crap PS3. i have noticed the PS3 can sometimes lose a second. you can just stand there and put Regen on and every once in a while i see the timer skip an entire second.
maybe there is just an issue with the game on PS3. :(

I get this too, sometimes. It doesn't happen often but sometimes it'll get interrupted and you'll lose swiftcast.

I've had Swiftcast Raise been interrupted before by things smacking on me. Definitely not instant like Regen (which I can cast while running).
Playing on PC.

Swiftcast has a delay (dependent on lag) between when it actually comes up and when you've used the skill. Small but it can get in the way when trying to swiftcast something
.

it happened to me also, specifically with resurrection
