Consistent way to HQ Rose Gold Nuggets?

I am struggling to make them HQ. The 40 durability really hurts me. My only craft 50 is GSM. Can anyone tell me their rotation to get HQ Rose Gold Nugget most of the time?

Do you at least have skills from other DoH?

The level 15 ones are easy to obtain and can be real life savers.

You pretty much can't craft effectively without dabbling into X-Skills, it's just impossible unless you have the best gear possible, and even then you'll be outclassed.

I have full GSM HQ with most major materia attached. I have Careful Synthesis and Hasty Touch. I am considering getting Tricks of the Trade.

With full HQ GSM gear + materia it should be pretty easy to HQ rose gold nuggets, provided the gold ore is HQ.

I'm 50 GSM with about 2/3 melded HQ gear and the absolute lowest % chance I have to HQ rose gold with 3 HQ gold ore is 88%. That's assuming I don't get any good/excellent conditions, which still happens far too frequently. I'm not logged in right now but my non-buffed stats (food) are around 344 craftsmanship, 340 control, 324 CP. My only cross class talents are from 50 alchemy and 15 weaving. The alchemy actions are not needed at all, they just provide more leeway.

My rotation is something like this:


Comfort Zone (50 alch action, as long as the craft takes more than 10 steps it's +14 cp)


if the condition is good: Tricks of the Trade
Inner Quiet


if the condition is good: Tricks of the Trade
Great Strides


unless condition is excellent: Steady Hand


unless condition is excellent: Innovation

Now here is where luck and CP management comes into play. If the condition is good I'll use Advanced Touch. If not I'll recast Great Strides. If the condition is still not good on the next step I'll use Standard Synthesis. If the condition is STILL not good/excellent I just bite the bullet and use Advanced Touch on a normal quality. From here I just rebuff Great Strides, then Steady Hand, then Innovation, and continue cycling these until I get a good/excellent condition. If I get nothing (which happens pretty often) I'll just Advanced Touch again before those 3 buffs run out and finish the synth.

As long as somewhere in the rotation I can pull off an Advanced Touch while Great Strides, Steady Hand, and Innovation are up + good condition the synth will be 96-100% HQ. With no luck it's still 88% which isn't bad. With fully melded gear that number will probably be bumped up into the high 90s or maybe 100%. If you're looking to reliably HQ rose gold nuggets without HQ gold ore you better have quite a few cross class actions, fully melded and stat capped gear, or both.
