Do I slay Bombs in dungeons or can I slay any bomb and get the Ash?

There is a special FATE called "Return of the King." Complete it and you will receive 10, 20, or 30 wet bomb ash based on your performance. I think my sister found a level 20 one in eastern Thanalan near Drybone. There is also one by Costa del Sol, but you need to be 30 to go there.

The market prices are ridiculously high. Even if you're a level 28, you should be able to participate in the FATE. Just wear protective gear because there's a lot of bombards to deal with. But there's so many people camping out waiting for the FATE to regen that you should have no problem surviving it.. You'll probably get one to two hits per target before its down from everyone's contribution, and you should end up with about 30 ashes per FATE. You'll need a total of 90 ashes to get everything in each gender/180 for both
The one I'm at is in Costa Del Sol, X31, Y33

They implemented low level version of this Fate starting at level 5 I think. ^^

There is a low level FATE at Peacegarden in the North Shroud.

If I made a Lord of the Ring reference, it was by accident. xD

There's also a low-level FATE in central Thanalan near the Sultantree (near Ul'dah). And a ~Lv15 FATE east of Drybone in eastern Thanalan. Both are also called Return of the King.

im curious, i have over 100 of the ash but where is the vendor to turn it in? costa del sol?
had no idea that fate was for an event lol
