I am a BLM and no matter what I do I get hit by his knockback. I have noticed that if I am not casting anything I can avoid it , if I am casting and I try to move I have a small "delay" in my animation and the attack hits me no matter where I am. I am pretty sure my connection is good but I am wondering if its a class thing or me.
As a white mage healing the fight I've had no trouble with the knock back move. I usually have ample time to avoid it. It's possible you are experiencing a bit of latency. I know one of my FC members plays on PS3 and sometimes he is clearly out of the way on his screen but still dies. It's also possible that it's just server lag. The instance servers have been pretty overwhelmed lately.
Titan is relay hard fight and what makes harder is the Hole getting knocked of the stage even know I clearly got out the way thing. My tip is to try moving has much as possible as It seams to me that Titan tends to go for players that stay on the one spot for more that 5 minutes and if he dose go for you move diagonally out of the attacks rage towards titan so if it still hits you got more of a chance of not falling of the edge of the stage.
I hate Titan more than anything, ever. I wiped a good 30 times before I beat it. :(
My latency is pretty bad, but I kind of caught on to how Titan works or at least how it is for me.
See, for me what I do is, when Titan starts knocking people off, I've noticed a pattern. Usually I just stick in a place and keep on healing, but once I see him do his little 'stomp' aoe attack (the one where he just slams his foot on the ground, no large red circle), then I start running left and right for a while. That usually helps me avoid his attacks as by the time he sends it out, I'm already on my way out of there, but it does mean I have to really pay attention to him, which is hard when I'm paying more attention to my party's health bars.
though this is in titan's 'easy mode', i haven't had a chance to play or see his hard mode.

The only time he knocked me off was during the tail end of a Limit Break. >.<
I've played The Secret World since launch and ground Nightmares half of that time, so as soon as I see those AoE markers, I get the hell out of dodge before the high-pitched yelp even passes my lips. XD
But I have heard this is a pretty big issue at end-game.
Most enemies that do a linear move physically turn towards their target long before the move starts charging and the danger zone pops up, but they are still "locked on" to where you were. Just keep an eye on an enemy if they begin turning around suddenly and start moving when you catch it.
