I just a quick question that is a bit confusing to me. I have been leveling up my leather working so that I can create my own equipment, and I stumbled upon a random website that said that Lancers are able to wear Armor as well and not just Leather gears, is this true and am I wasting my time with Leather Working?? :confused:
Once you do a Job change to Dragoon, you can equip heavy armor as well. As a Lancer, you can only wear medium/light armor I believe. As a Lancer, you can also equip some heavy armor. Like this one: http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Aetherial_Iron_Elmo
Ok yeah I did read about switching to Dragoon and being able to wear Heavy Armor, well I think I may learn Armoring anyways and some Mining, heck might as well just learn all the crafting and gathering skills, as I plan on doing other classes in the future and I am sure a good way to make money once I can sell stuff on the Marketplaces..
