Movement skills and combat?

Hello,

I know people seem to hate when WoW is brought up to other games. Frankly, it was my first MMO, and honestly the thing I am drawn to most about it compared to all other MMO's is the fluid combat and movement.

I am liking FF so far though, I was wondering if someone might be able to help me out because I am still just playing one class and I am only lvl 20 with a gladiator. So far I have zero movement based skills. I don't have a charge, or a speed increase or something like that. And I guess I was wondering if any of the classes eventually get some of these fun, more involving movement abilities? Teleport/jump/charge, something?

Especially with pvp I know skills like that tend to cause QQ, but it's what really add's a lot of the flavor of the game to me. Not just the gladiator/paladin, but are there any movement/fun abilities I guess similar to WoW in FF, in this regard?

Lancer have a bunch of skills which effect depens on position (flank, rear...).
Archer have a skill to jump backwards.
Arcanist & Conjurer can push enemies...

I don't know if there are more skill related to movement.

Bard/Monk both get a movement speed increase ability if that's what you mean, and Monk gets Shoulder Tackle which lets them zip across to a nearby enemy instantly and attack it. Black Mage has a move that lets them teleport to a designated party member, though the range is a bit limited.

Yeah I am trying to get used to this system. Obviously from WoW I loved playing a warrior, due to charge/heroic leap and the movement available to them. I love tanking, but I love being able to move around, so I think Ill give a few of the other classes with more fun/movement abilities a try.

This game definately lacks movement based abilitites. (or even interesting abilitites - most things just do damage)
Wow really is way way more advanced in terms of interesting abilities, this is the part of ffxiv that i like less.
I hope with the pvp patch things will get better, or it will be extremely boring pvp
