Lost Quest Progress "A Relic Reborn (Thyrus)"

I was doing "a relic reborn" questline where i was supposed to gain Amdapor glyph in Amdapor Keep. Our party fell apart before first boss and my quest vanished and when i took it again, it started in the beginning so i lost my Madman's whispering rod with materias melded in it. That weapon costed me alot of gil and time. As SE support nicely hinted that i abandoned that quest (which i didn't do) and that they cant do anything to help me i just wanted to tell about this to everyone so that they could be cautious about this.

P.S I like this game too much to quit now even after this bs
