Are my friends ever going to be able to join my server? (Cactuar)

First off I have been extremely patient..but my friends and I have been waiting weeks to be on the same server..

I dunno what I am expecting from this forum by posting this but I can't be the only one feeling like wtf is going on with this locked off char creation limit stuff?

I have friends quitting the game because they cannot play with myself and each other...

If there was an option to put subscription on hold until they fix the issues...and we weren't losing day after day of subscription time, it would be fine...but yeah days are just ticking off wasted because no one wants to get invested on a server until we can all be together...

Please for the love of all that is holy, let people make damn chars on the right proper servers.....or offer us some sort of transfer service....:mad:

I don't think Behemoth has been open for character creation for like three days straight at least, which is starting drive some people I know crazy.

It's so annoying man, like they said they didn't wanna make a xbox 360 version because they would have to have their own xbox community and it would divide the community, someone tell me how what is going on right now is any better?

So do you know for a FACT if I continue a char and go nuts on it, on say a diff server, If I can transfer in the future? Not that I doubt you, but honestly if it turned out where we couldn't transfer or needed to pay like $20 to do so...would suck.

I assume were gonna see free transfers for a limited time?

World Transfers are a definite. Traditionally you had to pay for them in XI, and I assume the same will be true in XIV. Now, whether it's much or very little you pay - and whether or not they give a free period when they first become available... that's anyone's guess, really.

3 days.. more like 3 weeks.. so much so..I think I almost gave up on waiting for it.. Still waiting for it..but doubt it'll open anytime soon..

My server did not open up for character creation until about 3 days ago, and was locked in Beta4. I got 6 ppl to buy the game with me. three of them got refunds, 1 of them now refuses to even play the game, and I now only have 2 irl friends to play with, and to get them on the server I had to get their account info and stay up till about 4:00am my time to create their characters.

So yea.. it is pretty much bs that they are blocking the creation of characters when the real issue is that 80% of players in game are afk due to lack of afk kick, and how difficult it is for players with characters to even log in. I know much of this has changed in the past week SE still lost 4 subs, and had to give out 3 refunds just in my circle of friends. One could only imagine how many more they lost around the world.

I'm trying to create a character on the server that I already have a character on, and it won't let me which is quite odd since I can't log on 2 characters at same time, so there isn't any reason to block me from creating another character on the same server.

the reason I'm making another character is because I want to level another class, but since there isn't any fast way to earn gil at end game, so leveling another character will result in a bigger net gil gain.

I believe that for now u can only have 1 character per server and 8 characters in total as most probably u have paid entry, not standard subscription...

Lucky you guys...my wife can't even buy the game to play with me and I'm wasting my free month by not playing so I don't out level her too fast.

You can always level the crafting classes first..and level the battle class when she gets it. That way you don't waste it!
