Can someone confirm this as a record?

If you consider each system fundamentally different then Final Fantasy XIV now appears to have has 8 separate Quest types, with 2 coming soon. They all act differently, and were all released before a year had passed since release.

Mission Quests
Class Mission Quests
Guild Leves
Local Leves
Faction Leves
Behests
Side Quests
Guild Tasks

And soon we'll have:
Company Quests
Dungeon Quests


Am I counting wrong or missing something?

LS Quest: "Hey guys, I need item xy for my craft, do anyone have it?"

We asked for more quests, we are getin them

After testing out the Guild Tasks, I must say this is a fantastic little method to get SP. I do like that there are many different things emerging.

Even though I don't play any crafting/gathering class (I'm struggling with CRP 22 for crying out loud), I'm happy the DoHs/DoLs finally got something.

Fantastic in theory, but horrid in execution. I have a 35 Gold I wanted to do a quest on last night I login I check the board all excited... I see my quests R1 or R10... WTF

Don't forget, like other quest systems introduced, they only included a little bit in order to make sure it works correctly. 500SP is 500SP regardless of the rank required.

Ultimately the game has 3 main "Quest" systems: 'Storyline' Quest, 'Repeatable' Quest (i.e. guildleve, guild task), and 'Behest' (which is sort've a dynamic implementation).

Player Quests : a quest from player to player in formal way.

any player can put their request and reward in adventure guild message board for any adventure to check it and decide whether they will take the quest or not.
the accept and reward transaction progress should be done automatically so that the client can not cheat on it later. (may be ask the client to deposit the reward with NPC who act like quest master first.)

just an idea that might be hard to work on. But if SE can pull this out and not make them too mess, then this will be the best game environment.

The thing is, you seperate Faction and Guildleve, like you'd seperate FovPage to Elite page, you just wouldnt, because at the end of the day, the system is just Fields of Valor, and Factions is just part of Guildleves

Also you said "Guildleves" wrongly, Guildleves includes: REGIONAL leves, local leves and factions.

I'd say it is so far:
1. Main Scenerio
2. Class Quests
3. Guildleves: regional/local/faction
4. Side Quests
5. Guild Tasks

And soon we'll have:
6. Company Quests
7. Dungeon Quests

Sadly...
1. is easy to do, and once done is over
2. Is probably the best system as you get cutscenes and they're quests. if only they were not forced solo then this would be the system i love
3. which is just how to level and become very tedious (was hoping for more by now)
4. Just quests, nothing special but defaintly happy to have, havent tried any new ones so cant complain
5. Awful, god awful

6/7 obviously no idea but extremely excited for them.
