Steps:
Join FATE with large number of players, examples are Svara, Behemoth and Odin.
Notice that enemy is not displayed, but other player's minions, summons and companions are displayed.
Finally see NM, and Target NM.
NM disappears from screen causing target loss.
Can not participate in FATE.

I'll be honest. I absolutely HATE going into a fate and seeing 20 people with their chocobos and pets out. It's a real pain in the ass to try and target anything with all that crap out on the field not to mention it does add to the max number of displayable characters on the screen. It's a real annoyance having all those out on the screen and I really wish the game would just tell you that you can't partake in a FATE if you have a companion out. Then there is the "But how do I level my chocobo!?!?" argument. Oh well problems are everywhere, I just hope SE can think of a way to help improve this one.

Same problems, ever since update, I really am done with all this it needs to end or they need to throw in the towell and switch us around.

Same issue and I'm playing on PC.
Behemoth should be somewhere in that pic but it only appeared to make a mass murder and disappear right after. Totally unplayable and stressing.
The priority should be you, mob, party, alliance, party pets, alliance pets, everyone else, everyone else's pets, everyone's minions.

Same problem here on PS3. But one small work around, "sometimes" if you use an AOE mobs will show up. So far it only worked about 25% of the time.
