Which would you say? I'm considering going either Culinarian or Alchemist, but if there's just no demand for what they produce or there's too many of them, I'd rather not.
But even if you think one of the others is more needed and/or less played, lets hear it.
I always felt all the craters get the short end of the stick. They can make decent stuff for leveling, but most don't have a whole lot of end game use at the moment. I am sure they will add more stuff in as they go. But I would venture to say Alchemist and Culinarian are your best options if you want to make money. But I could be wrong. I have not really tried much with DOH/DOL.
I imagine if you can make dyes, there is some profit in that. I bought five snow white dyes for roughly 4k on the auction board. Could not find any anywhere else.
At the moment, the enire DoL/DoH system is borderline useless.
You can play around for fun crafting 1-49 gear and even make some profit out of it, but come level 50, only buff food and potions have any significant demand. Dyes too, to a lesser degree.
There are several reasons for it.
One, aside from relic quest weapon, none of the l50 gear is worth the hassle. Not with the requirements for Tomestone-bought reagents upped nearly tenfold to throttle gear acquisition/raid progression.
Two, farming dungeons provides better, easily accessible gear at 50. No reason to spend days and weeks farming mats, crafted gear can (at best) serve as a temporary placeholder until you get dungeon loot.
I would at least go with Culinarian. AT the very least you can make food for yourself.
