Bot users and how to treat them :)

My big paladin friend went on some banemite hunting after getting info that I need a lot of diremite web. He searched some places, but all he could see - a bunch of 50lvl chars farming all the mobs around. Well, it's a free country here, who's first - he's a winner. So he started hitting the mobs first and tried to kill them himself, but surprisingly hilevels continued hitting the mobs and killed them. My friend took a closer look at 2 mage characters clearing one place and noticed - they are standing still on one place, they are hitting all the appeared mobs after 3 seconds. So he just started hitting mobs first and made those 50lvl bots do their job - killing. This way my friend farmed a lot of resources for almost 2 hours :D:D:D

After this appeared the owner of bots, he got really angry and tried to change the farm tactics. He tried to interfere in my friends mob hunting by giving him trade. This way we got an info, that trade holds you from attacking until it's finished or cancelled.
So we used this same tactic against him and I think he got more angry then before and changed his farm tactic more by changing 1 mage to 1 archer. This way with archers instant skills he could get all the mobs to himself.
I came there too and when my friend was holding all the archers attention I used all the new tricks just steal the mobs from his mage. Then He changed his tactics again - put the mage on the spawn place of 2 mobs and made him cast blizzard all the time.

I visited him later, gave one of his actively farming mobs chars trade and vent to get som sleep. looking at the logs after waking up I saw that "trade" continued more than 2 hours :rolleyes:

PS: when you want to know is this character bot or not - just give him a trade and you'll know it immediately. :)
