The Need for some kind of CHANNEL

Hey, So... alot of the zones like south shrough are PACKED with enough players to ruin a fate in less then a minute. Meaning to many people attempting to finish a fate all at once. I think it wouldnt be a bad idea to add an additional channel to heavy populated zones. I think 2 Channels probably be a enough? Because im sure that FATEs shouldnt be having over 50-70 people doing them all at once. Seeing how fast the gather FATE around Goblin's Meet disappears. And the one around Taker's Rot.

And when population dies down in these zones. The 2nd channel option disappears.

This channel thing would also be beneficial to reduce player lag caused by densely populated areas. (dont need them in towns)

There are some things that need to be re-evaluated in game. Because im sure content like FATEs wernt taken into mind for content that is influenced by population. Its going to suck whenever one has a level 50 trying to do stuff.

I do agree with you though because places like Coerthas Central Highlands get SEVERELY overpopulated with players running those fates that getting contribution is near impossible for people who are not in a party.

On aion and maplestory they called them channels. Yea there other games that call them instances but i dunno like.. some games use that word instance to define a type of dungeon.

Yeah, there are a couple games out there that use "channels" instead of "worlds" - instead of having your character bound to one world server, character data is shared between all servers. Players can change to a specific channel at will, but if one particular channel starts to get overburdened the system will automatically start moving players to the less populated ones.

No matter how we call it , they should seriously think about doing this sooner or later .. as there is too much ppl doing the same FATE all at the same time. Or maybe giving less reward from FATES, so ppl will stop doing that many ( Personally , it makes me sick to see someone getting to lvl 50 in less than 3 days only by doing FATES non-stop in a group .. )
