Thank you! If I exchange with someone, How will I know it's a collector's edition code?

That's just the risk you are going to have to take or you can pick a ps3 copy on ebay from $80 to $150 then once you register your ps3 copy you can play using a pc just download the client free kinda nice that ps3 users get 2 versions for the price of one. oh and if your a 1.0 yes the ps3 free trial is added to your number of days

I know it's a risk that I take, but doing nothing is even worse. It's like throwing money out the window.

I did the same thing but except with a EU Game Time card, I ended up just giving the code to a lucky EU for free since NA doesn't even have a game time card of its own.

I wish you luck with your exchange but I am sure that the majority of people who made a similar mistake as you did have already done their exchanges. The only thing that I can possibly recommend is selling the EU Collectors Edition for a little cheaper than you bought it, take the deficit that you have, and then repurchase the NA CE version.

That is all I can really recommend to you if you want this resolved quickly.
