Comprehensive Fishing Guide?

Does anyone have a link to a comprehensive fishing guide for FFXIV ARR (current version)?

Just something that lists the following…

1.) all known fishing locations (maps, grid coords)
2.) what fish are found at those locations (Lv of fish & Lv of location)
3.) what baits are used to catch each fish

Information like that would be very helpful.

You're asking for hardcore information. You need to give at least 2-3 months minimum for people to gather all that information.

However, I saw Merhu in the other fishing thread posted a spreadsheet that is growing.

the best list is the one we've been compiling on the diciplesoftheland site in that thread. we only have a few more fish to go before 100% completion

That spreadsheet isn't working anymore, the other website has some of the info but is missing the X,Y coords on several locations and doesn't list Lv of the fish or bait used to catch them. I know the game is new and it takes time to gather the info, but I really wish we had a proper database for these things.

Hmm. Seems none of the sites have updated for the housing areas, each of which have fishing spots.

Not sure if you're asking for the info, or just noting that it's not there, but here's info on those areas from my personal notes:

Mist (lvl 30):
1. Harbor Herring (lvl 7)
2. Blue Octopus (lvl 21)
3. Blowfish (lvl 22)
4. Bianaq Bream (lvl 27)
5. Indigo Herring (lvl 31)
6. Ash Tuna (lvl 32)
7. Fullmoon Sardine (lvl 34)
8. Nautilus (lvl 45)

Lavender Beds (lvl 30):
1. Pipira (lvl 6)
2. Dark Sleeper (lvl 18)
3. Ala Mihgan Fighting Fish (lvl 16)
4. Tri-colored Carp (lvl 21)
5. Shadow Catfish (lvl 27)
6. Spotted Pleco (lvl 30)
7. Bonytongue (lvl 34)
8. Monke Onke (lvl 33)

The Goblet (lvl 30):
1. Brass Loach (lvl 9)
2. Faerie Bass (lvl 17
3. Copperfish (lvl 20)
4. Eunuch Crayfish (lvl 22)
5. Dark Bass (lvl 25)
6. Lamprey (lvl 29)
7. Silverfish (lvl 36)
8. Goldfish (lvl 50)

In other words: Nothing that you can't find anywhere else, and when targeting specific fish there are generally better places to fish for them. Interestingly, I think the Goblet is the only place where you can find Copperfish, Silverfish, and Goldfish all in the same place - not that there's any use for any of them.
