I just dont think they are getting their proper respect as legendary NM as a fate, where 500 just zerg to death. the 2 times ive killed odin i barely even seen what he looked like there were so many people crowding his body. The only mechanic i know for sure he has is zanzetsu and to me, its just kind of shameful.
He should be an 8 man trial like the rest of the primals, same goes for behemoth and it should be a rela fight at 50.
Please make ODIN and BEHEMOTH a duty finder trial.

Don't do this Square! Do however bring back the quest chain and submitting to his will to avoid his one shots though. Also make him just insta kill anyone below 50 that walks into the "FATE" zone.
That will keep it from flooding with useless people that do nothing but lag the fight for those that can actually kill it. And it means you wont have to limit bomb him to get the kill. -

Personally I would say that the fates be treated like boss fights once you enter you're in and if you warp after death you can't re-enter fight. Keeps the 50's in play and the lowbies out.

I have seen before when there was world bosses in games that was tided to the storyline as a must do. I was one fo the people that needed a couple of them and the spawn times was anywhere from 24 to 32 hours. The placed the spawning area in certain parts of the maps and guess what. Still to this day have I had the chance to kill any of them. So I would agree with the idea of making it a trail through the Duty Finder. This why everyone gets a chance to kill the primals that are linked to the story. So I to would have to ask SE to consider this option.

I would love if it was instanced like the primals. Making it in FATEs is no fun because FATEs have no strategy in them, random people dying, nobody listen. No team work. Plus there is so many people there that you don't even get to see the boss. FATEs are retarded.

The way it's set up currently, me and most of my FC is never going to see Odin, and barely a handful ever saw Behemoth. Racing the allmighty FATE zerg that vaporizes everything in it's path is not how content should be handled. Trial modes for those two, please. -

+1 to the OP's idea but instead of getting rid of the world fate versions, just add another 8-16 or 24man versions for those of us who want genuinely difficult mechanics that are befitting of these legendary beasts.
Lv75 cap Odin in Einherjar and the current 99 versions odin in FFXI are nice examples of howmuch fun it can be. Throwing hundreds of bodys at something till it dies isnt exactly my idea of fun but to each his own which is why id like to see instanced versions aswell as keeping these world fate versions. -

Well on PS3, if there are more than 30+ people, I don't see anything anymore. All I see is Terrain and my char, no other players or npcs or mobs. I just go where I think is fate, based on mini-map then spam AoE and hoping it hits anything. Sometimes I get lucky and I hit mobs and get credits. Sometimes I died cause I agro every mob from AoE and I can't see my hp go down. The worse fates are the things where I have to turn in items to npc. I can't see npc so I couldn't turn them in and don't get exp cause time runs out. So if Odin and Behemoth are attacked by 500 people, you can imagine what my ps3 will display. It can't even display anything for 30+ people.
