Need some answers.

So Square Enix has been less than helpful, surprise surprise..

So 2 days ago I tried to fire up FFXIV on my PC, and it prompted me with "Welcome to FFXIV, blah blah, do you have a Square Enix account or would you like to set one up!?" Long story short, ive already been playing for over a week, and now it is acting like I have never played and need to set it up originally. I cannot set up an existing SE account because my code has already been used and is linked.

Furthermore, I just got charged $30 for the first month of service, what the hell is that about??

Any help is appreciated .. I sat waiting for chat support for over an hour and a half and then had to go to work so I never got any help; and the email support has not gotten back to me in 48 hours.

I'm confused, I didn't link it to the wrong account or anything like that, when i open my FFXIV launcher it doesn't go to a log-in screen it goes straight to wanting me to link my SE account. I don't know what changed.
