Too difficult to level crafting

I'm not saying it should be easier or anything, but it feels like the only effective way to level a craft is to do Leves, and the very limited amount of Leves you get can be used up very quickly just trying to gain a few levels after a while.

I know that the best use of Leves is to turn in HQ items but sadly I haven't figured out the best way to do that, it seems like an incredibly frustrating process to say the least and I end up failing 9/10 times.

At this point fighting Hardmode Primals seems like a cake walk in comparison to leveling Crafting...

Leveling crafting wasn't supposed to be easy, as it's the only way to create money in the economy. If everyone could do it, then no one would buy from each other. Yes, turning in HQ does give you extra bonuses. But Trade craft leves are potentially unlimited. When you have a leve that requires multiple items, if you turn in all HQ materials, then (in addition to the large bonus) you can redo the leve at no allowance cost. Remember, that it's intentionally difficult, otherwise we would have an even larger number of gil farmers.

I'm quite happy with the amount of time and effort it takes to level crafting skills, quite enjoying goldsmithing in particular at the moment.

The problem I'm having is it takes twice as much time and effort it seems to level a DoH than it does to level a DoW or DoM, and if you want your Relic weapon you either buy gil from an RMT, or level a DoH. At least on my server if I want to get Astrolabe (which I believe is the prereq for Stardust) without making it myself I need to drop almost 3,000,000 gil. DoL isn't as bad, it's just incredibly time consuming.
