Five Easy Pieces
I am having a heck of a time getting this fight beaten. I can clear all the adds just fine, and I can get main dude down to 50%, but I haven't figured out how to reliably dodge Blast Wave, and that's what's getting me each time. Anyone have advice on this?

Here's what I did:
1. Fight starts. Target the nearest ?? NPC and start with Arm of the Destroyer > Twin Snakes > Rockbreaker (your AoE Attack). Do this AoE combo 2-3 times until all of the adds are killed via AoE attacks.
2. Only boss is left now. Do your typical Bootshine > Twin Snakes > Demolish > Touch of Death > Fracture rotation. At that point, you should be at half HP.a. Activate Healing Mantra.
b. Use Second Wind for heal.
c. Top yourself off with a Mega-Potion.
3. Now the boss you should be at 60% HP. Activate Featherfoot, use Haymaker as soon as it's available, and keep doing your typical rotations to DPS him.
4. Avoid all of his attacks. That means the moment you see a red rectangle/square/circle on the ground, MOVE. Don't finish your attack; don't wait, just get out of there or you'll die.
5. Needless to say, start the fight with Internal Release so your AoE does more damage and keep it up as much as possible.
6. Make sure to have your Stun (Mithril Peak?) hotkeyed at a convenient location so you can interrupt his one-shot kill ability.
Let me know if this works for you.
PS - forgot to say that you should always be hovering at ~50% HP since after you release your "seven chakra" (a yellow text should appear in the middle of your screen after you've defeated his 4 cronies and get the boss around 75%-80% HP) a Regen buff is permanently applied on you. Then it just becomes a fight of attrition by having you dodge/interrupt his Blast Wave.

Cool. Thanks for the info, I'll definitely use your advice. I'm finding that in some of the fights I do with him, he just starts spamming the Blast Wave, whereas in others not so much. And I'm definitely out of the square when he casts it, so is dodging this attack something that is just luck? Or is it a matter of moving sooner and just getting far enough away?

He's really slow and his AI is terrible, just take out the Adds first then kite him around till you get HP back and repeat the process. Dodging his projectiles and line AoE's when needed.
