Fun minigame I found

Has anyone done the little minigame where you go to the retainer bell and try to click on it without clicking on any player thats standing directly on top of it, first try?

Its fun, I have about 27% success rate.

Moral of this thread.

I have 100% using the Tab Key.
And using game pad too, with L3 to enter active mode and then pressing left/right to target NPCs only.

Maybe it's an exploit I'm using? =b

They need to put collision detection on it and major NPCs.

Have you ever tried to click through 20 people standing on top of Minfillia? WHY do people feel the need to stand on top of NPCs? And what possesses people to do it while riding a Goobbue? I don't want to pull the "my immersion!" card but these asshats are big time offenders.

Hence why you gotta get off mounts to talk to NPCs. Imagine if you could accept/turn in quest while still on your mount?

Try doing that with a gamepad.. sh*t's a nightmare. lmao. At least with the gamepad I have the ability to use the d pad to cycle through everything in the area until I land on the thing I'm actually trying to target. orz

Even using F12 to target the nearest npc, 70% of the time, I end up getting someone's minion as my target ><

When that happens, I try to target one of the characters with their head turned at a weird angle towards the bell and hit the key for targeting your target's target ^^

Or just face the bell and hit X. If you go up close to the bell you shouldn't get any minions or pets, and there are ways to disable targeting them in the config.

Can't you also CTRL+mouseclick to ignore player characters, too?

Was always like that in wow, was wondering how long it would take to start up here. meh

Or they could add more bells :D Since its needed anyways ^^

Try pressing X before trying to interact with an npc or an object
