Chocobo and some uses..kweh!!

Aw we all are awaiting the anouncements of our beloved yellow winged friends heres some thoughts as to what we might expect. Perhaps we get a chocobo along with a chocobo whistle to call them whenever needed, prolly on a 20 min cooldown or so. Maybe an implitation of accesorizing your chocobo. Buying or making a sadle for extended ride distance, and equipable saddle bags for more inv space to armor!!! I was also think of implementing a 2hour special whistle call for ur chocobo, who then rushes into battle and whisks said adventurer away from harm.Well those are my 2 gil; lemme know what u think. ;)

Oh and dont forget that all comes after finding the island forest of lost chocobos...and doing the side quest/mini-quest to get accepted by the wild chocobos. Then they would offer you a special egg to keep from harm, which then hatches and becomes ur chocobo companion!!!

I, as well, hope chocobos are coming. After all, it just wouldn't be FF without them. I know many others are hoping the same. Still, many other major issues to address with this game. I'm sure the development team will eventually get around to this.

I like your idea about lost chocobo island too. Various quests to complete to capture, tame, befriend, etc. your chocobo lol.

Same here. I just hope that you can purchase them at a high amount (something worth saving up for) or having to do a quest after a certain rank (30 maybe?) or something. As much as I want want want Chocobo, I don't want 5,000 people running around the game with them.


Also, it'd be great if we could breed them and create different colors, or styles.


And YES I certainly favor customizing my Chocobo's gear and armor! If there are plenty of Chocobo in the game, I want mine to look different, same as my individual character.

I think it would be cool to have "customized choco's" but only for die hard quest complition(like a huge raid to get some special thing for the egg so you can make it what you want...just an example, but you get where i'm going). Not saying anythings wrong with normal cho's, i just think it would be cool since final fantasy is at the point to where they can make things look almost realistic, so in that aspect my wish is to pump up the volume! Beak size, eyes, wing size/shape, color, legs, choco's sound, name, different sattles for them with your name on it, etc. This way its YOUR choco and you feel more closer integrated with the game. It's a random idea, but stuff like this is whats fun in a lot of new games.

The chocobo is just a mount, you ride it to get you from point A to point B faster, I think having it on 20 mins cooldown is too much, perhaps not having cooldown would help making people explore the game and use teleport less, so they can appreciate the game.

And add mini-games for chocobo's, racing, digging etc, and add some mini quests that gives you rewards, like armor or gear for your chocobo (with some speed increase perhaps? 10%-20%-30% speed increase if you equip certain gear on their feet or whatever?).

make it where if you're tired of everything else, theres a part in the game where you can do a lot of things with your choco, like what mishow said(great idea!) + choco adventure quests and cutscenes!
