Any information on when digital sales will be back?

I've googled but haven't found anything wondering if there has been any information on a time frame for digital sales to return. Days, Months, Never. Also on a separate but related note, was ffxiv taken off shelves at stores? It's sold out EVERYWHERE just wondering if it was really sold out or if stores were told to take the items off the shelves (maybe someone that works at a store will know). Seems weird that they would be sold out everywhere like this and more than a week later after launch no other copies were shipped out. What's going on here?
