Interesting...so what happens if you fail the synth? It has been known to happen at 95%....And are these mats all hq, some hq, some nq etc? One other thing, be nice if wouldn't craft right on top of the summoning bell. Its hard enough trying to select that thing with all the other people standing over let alone somebody crafting on it...

I donno, I never not HQ one yet... though I can always finish it so there is no chance of lose material. I can HQ from all NQ, but I use HQ mats whenever I can to be safe. For 50** I just need item from philo tome, as I can provide the rest at no additional charge.

I usually craft away from bell, unless it's just 1 syn for some random stuff someone need. I will pay more attention.
