Healing Emnity and You

It may point out the obvious, or help us develop as a community, but lets see where it goes.

I figured I'd start a thread for the aspiring WHM/SCH as healing emnity in this game is generated pretty aggressively. I'm a WHM so my contributions are limited to just that. I'll expand this post as people make contributions etc...

Here are the basic observations I have made:
- Over healing the target generates emnity for the total amount of the cure. It doesn't matter how much was applied to the target.
- Bosses, while invulnerable to damage (and your tank) still appear to generate emnity for healing during these phases.

Suggestions I'd make:

[Stoneskin]
- Give your tank Stoneskin before a pull since damage mitigated doesn't equal threat generation. Also if there is downtime before any burst damage. While Stoneskin is NOT the most mana efficient way to heal, it is much less Emnity (it's a trade off)

[Regen]
- Do not Regen your tank prior to a pull. A tick from Regen before a tank gets to act can pull the pack to you.
- Avoid Over Cures via Regen. It's tempting to maintain Regen on all of your party members during a fight, but remember each tick that over cures will generate unnecessary emnity. This x4 can be troublesome if the boss is invulnerable for a period of time.
