Just to start off I been playing since day one. I paid every month I was able too and im a huge fan so in no way is this a hate thread. I played FF11 for 7 years (loved that game) and plan on playing this no mater what.
With that being said I have a couple problems But this thread is about duty finder. If you are going to force people to work together from different servers with no way to make friends other then in that instance then why would you have repairs on gear cost so much but not make some of these dungeons that we have to run over and over again drop gil or dark matter?
This does not create teamwork what so ever. If I que for the ifrit or garuda hard mode battle and we fail 2-3 times because people do not learn the pattern or gear is not good enough what is the incentive to stay and keep trying? If we keep failing we actually lose money. So what do people do? They leave. I actually don't blame them because in duty finder the battles after at lvl 50 ask for skilled players. If we stay we lose money over and over and most likely wont get to even beat Hard mode bosses.
My suggestion is each and every dungeon we use duty finder and pass it we each get some dark matters or some gil to make up for all the loses we can gain and wear we lose for helping people who are new to some of these battles. Lets face it if you do not know what you are doing you are not gonna waltz right through hard mode Primal battles. The game is made for trail and error so why do we lose so much doing trail and error? This way people will be less inclined to leave duty finder and mess up everyone else. How pissed are you that you waited in duty finder for 30 mins then one wipe and some jerk just leaves? I think this promotes team work and gets more people to pass these modes so people can learn these battles.
Another suggestion is when you use duty finder you get a buff that lessens gear wear or removes it just if you use duty finder. So basically if you chance using the duty finder for hard battles and you get teamed up with new people your only worried about winning not checking people for good gear/seeing if everyone has done this before/losing money.

They said with patch 2.1 they will give a reward for using the duty finder if it's money or gear i don't know but i really hope it's money to help with the repairs.
