Theft of goods

Yesterday after logging out for about 10 min, after changing my graphics settings, I noticed when I logged back in my crafting classes did not have the tools assigned to them. no big deal re assign them and go on my way right? Well they were gone. So I bought a couple and went on my way. This morning when I logged in I was going to polish up the classes and buy by new gear for them. I noticed I had no Gil. Well that freaked me out, so I went directly to the retainer and everything that I remember was there and then decided to look at the transactions. I had never sold anything yet so I was surprised to see that there were 6 transactions, one for each type of shard, sold at the same time to different characters. I have about 3000 gil from the transactions. Not sure what is going on but this is pretty lame. I have their names. 2 of them are level 50's. no surprise there. I need my stuff back. long story short: I have no class tools, no gil and no shards. Luckily my main Items are there but they don't need those do they?

Change your password, add a security token and contact Square Enix who may/may not be able to help with item recovery.

Edit: The people who bought the items likely had nothing to do with it, whoever logged into your account sold them on the auction house and those people bought the items. They probably had no idea they were "stolen goods".

Also if your FF14 login info is shared on any other games that you play, consider changing all those passwords as well. The thief may try every major online game to see if you share info between them.

That sucks def change your password asap as they are logging in daily. I would report to SE but don't expect your items back.

I did change my password. Got a security token app and now they are under maintenance so I cant set it up.

I suspect the buyers because there were 4 different buyers and they all bought the different types of shards at the exact same time. Not a coincidence.
I have heard no response from Tech support, and even if I do I don't expect squat. I just want these "players" to burn.

That is strange. Although I am fairly certain if someone logs onto your account from an unrecognized IP without a security token, it won't allow a log on until you contact customer support. I don't recall if you get an email or just an error message upon log in. I know this was the case in 1.0. This happened to me when I tried to log on from a different PC in my own house.

Crystal Shards sell quite fast, look at the transaction history to see this. Any random person could have bought your shards.
