cannot complete feisty chocobo (not about inventory full)

Hi,

For reasons I do not want to get into right now (having to do with an internet outage), the chocobo I have to summon to kill ziz died. I am now stuck because:

(a) I cannot abandon the feisty chocobo quest.

(b) I cannot use vendor sold gysahl greens to summon another chocobo to complete the quest.

(c) I cannot get another key item gysahl green.

Very poorly thought out quest -- I do not understand why any incomplete quest cannot be abandoned.

I messed up my first time summoning it and I was able to use a Gysahl Green sold by the vendors. This is probably a bug that popped up after the patch.

Thanks for the info. Do devs monitor these forums?
