518 accounts banned for RMT activities! Yay!

Blacklist works fine, I've done it myself and you don't have to 'write it down': mark and copy to clipboard in the usual way, then paste that into the 'add' box .. it's a bit of a pain, yes, be far easier with a single right-button clock as with some other games, but it doesn't need any typing.
I was happy to read in that they're using the STF in XIV .. they use to refer to it as the STFU (where 'U' stood for Unit) but I guess they learned that was an 'unfortunate' acronym. ;)
They created that group around 6 years ago when RMT had nigh on destroyed FFXI's economy during the infamous mega-inflation period of Christmas 2005 and SE's attempts to deal with it as part of their normal GM activities in 2006 proved largely futile.
While there are still HELM bots around (no MMO developer has entirely eliminated them) the RMT activity in FFXI plummeted within months of the STF's inception. For a long time SE used to publish stats on banned accounts, but eventually they stopped simply because the numbers became less and less and it became more or less a non-issue.
RMT, you shall not pass! :)
yer I worked out why it wasn't working...User error lol.. I hate to actually say this, but after 46 years on this planet I can happily say there's been two people in this life I dearly wanted 5 min alone with. an these scum who run RMT, are the second one on the list....
