Is there a decent Mining guide that actually goes pasy level 15??

I can't find any guide at all, let alone a good one. I know it's early so there may not be one yet, but my googling skills are sub-par so maybe someone else has found one.

The problem is that leveling miner (and botanist) is a grind and there's almost no way to avoid it.

The only temporary shortcuts are fieldcraft leves and the items you can gather daily for your grand company, that's all.

Also, use those survival manuals that you get from GC seals to get bonus experience.


Level 15 to level 22-23 = Grind alumen, north of camp drybone, eastern thanalan.

Level 22-23 to level 30 = Grind silver ore, upper paths, south shroud.

Level 30 to level 35 = Grind siltstone, western part of bronze lake, upper la noscea.

Level 35 to level 40 = Grind mythril ore in sagolii desert. This is where I am right now.

If you look at the gathering log it basically tells you where to go.
