So I'm curious about this and I have not done it. I see a lot of people doing fate grind parties. Do they really get more XP doing this in a party rather than solo, or is it just easier being in a party because they kill the mobs so fast?

I took my MRD to the beach and did solo and party running from twenty to thirty one. Really there is no diffrence in exp as long as you do enough in the fate to get credit. By exp any class that has a aoe can get decent exp. I just spammed the MRD cone att to hit multiple mobs at each fate for 6 to 12k exp at the end of the fate and 26k as long as I can catch cancer early in spawn just sit under him and sit step his cone attack. Granted you die a bit here and there but 11 levels in about three hours makes me happy. Down side is right now so many people grind there lag can be a pain. THM is another good one for there specially with bliz 2 aoe can hit ALOT of mobs in a fate that way. But also mind you in a party you can get a even amount of exp with no fluctuation because of the kills giving everyone in your party exp. so yes you can get more exp but you can still get good exp solo.
They don't get more exp but they pretty much always hit the max exp reward in a FATE, given they arrive before it end.
For example, you solo a fate and hit the mob 3 times, you'll get bronze.
A group does the same but since it's a group efford they get gold as everyone in the group contributed towards that.
Even if you arrive late, as long as you manage to hit some mobs a few times you'll get the full reward if your group was participating.
If you're in a group you also benefit from the Chain XP Bonus if the mobs are high enough level. That adds up crazy fast especially when you level an Alt Class and add the XP boost.
You also get the exp for every mob someone in the party hits..
My problem is I'm a whm so no aoe spells and by the time I target something it's dead. So I was wondering if I would have a better chance in a party?
