Error10102 And How To Resolve It Via The Lodestone

This worked for me after I was disconnected when I was attacked while trying to port to an instance. Subsequent login attempts gave me the 10102 Error. Seemingly, my character was trapped in a situation the game didn't like. It would try to load him in and then give me the error. After doing some research, I found her solution above and gave it a try.

Once inside the Lodestone, I fiddled with the character console, logging my other characters that were not experiencing the error in and out through the Lodestone (not the game), and logging my character with the 10102 error in and out of the Lodestone several times to "jimmy" him free. After doing this for just a few minutes, I logged into the game and voila - it worked.

As the Lodestone accesses the game server to draw data, it is conceivable that the Lodestone's log on / log off feature could serve as a "reset" of sorts when our characters get wrapped up in a particular spot of bad something or other the server/game doesn't like.

I highly recommend this method, my friends. Best of luck to you all.
