Please HELP! Confusion with PS3 and PC service accounts.

Hey guys, I am having so much trouble connecting my ps3 to my existing account its unbelievable. I have a 1.0 character Ive been playing since beta on PC.

I purchased a ps3 copy so i could multi-platform play. I popped in the disc and it made me download the client again (why?). After doing so, I entered my registration code and started the game. Apparently this made a second account. Since my first account has my character on it this wasn't going to work.

So...I contacted customer service, submitted the incorrect account registration form, then contacted live chat (2 hour wait). They escalated my ticket and I got a new code in the mail today.

So now...I go to the Mog station to add ps3 service to my service account 1, it says they do not handle ps3 services on the website so i must do it on my Playstation. ok...so I entered the new code on my ps3 and it wants me download the game again?!? I already have it downloaded... WTF. Is there something I am missing here? Is there a magical website to go to to register my ps3 copy to my existing service account? *pulls out hair*

oh boy, did you make sure to link your psn account to your main account? basically what i did was linked my account to psn(you can do it via the main square site not the mog station http://na.square-enix.com/ then eu.square if your in eu), didnt even bother using the disc since i dled in beta 4, then log into pstore and redeem the code on the lil pamphlet the back side something like 1234-1234-1234 this basically tells psn and square you bought the game and service opens up. when ya goto to mog station it'll change and say you have both. now linking accounts to ps3 id's is permant but i wonder if you can link multiple accounts to the same ps3 id. not sure 100% best of luck bud
