Alot more respect earned for Yoshi P. <3

I dont often take anything Kotaku says seriously often, but, I'll give this article credit. Much more respect has been added to Yoshi P. because in my eye's it's true, that's my opinion.

Saying it's the "best apology ever" sounds faintly ridiculous, I know, and the fact it's even on my radar is indicative of the sad state of customer service in this business.1P

But hey, that's beside the point. The game's had problems, that's in the past, so today it's just nice seeing somebody responsible for a video game problem actually do the right thing and put their hand up. It won't change what's happened, but it must make somebody feel better about the whole mess, right?

Indeed, his level of ownership of the problems is refreshing and sincere. I still am not a huge fan of the stealth-kill of service account tickets or the mass wipe due to "too many requests" (being in a similar customer service position, that sort of thing is a kiss of death to consumer confidence)....but on the mechanical side of things he has absolutely earned every bit of respect.

Truthfully from my time in gaming, I believe he's the only one whom has actually stepped forward and personally apologized for problems a game is having. Mistakes are made, and him taking responsibility for it even though truthfully I don't see it as completely his fault, it's admirable.

With Yoshida behind the helm of FFXIV, I have complete faith that the game will be quite the enjoyable journey for many years to come.

Most producers does not come out like this and admit, or takes responsibility like he has.
When BLizzard released Diablo 3 and that launch it had, they wrote a post that didnt feel like it was honesty behind it xD Working as intended, will fix Soon™ hehehe
