The "Full Remission" Achieve

You have to fight a mob named, "Cancer" and get an achievement called, "Full Remission" You can't imagine the shock and disgust I felt when I saw this. I am a Cancer survivor, and fighting a current battle. A real battle. It's hurting me, my family, and our friends. It isn't something to joke about, make fun of, or make games about. It's a horrible thing and you should be ashamed of yourselves for putting this into a game. There is no way to make light of this shameful thing. It is a horrible thing to do. I'd imagine now the fan boi army will now start posting and claiming how they all are ill and are perfectly ok with what you are doing. However, the truth of it is it's real, it's horrible, and you have no decency if you feel it's ok to make games about it. Honestly. I love your game. Right how however, I am pretty disgusted and want an apology. How dare you. I won't be replying to any player responses. I've said what I have to say. Next I'm filing an official complaint.

This should probably have been placed in a different forum subject, where the people you're complaining too would most likely see it. instead of the gameplay forum about FATEs.

It is Fate, and there is not other forum that comes closer. I've already logged a formal complaint. I think other players should be made aware.

Oh, GOD. Get over it. You turn in people's heads for fabulous prizes in the game, and the thing that bothers you the most is the name of an achievement?

The monster in question is a Giant Crab. The Crab is the animal in the astrological sign CANCER. The name of the achievement is a pun.

Taken figuratively, the FATE you're complaining about has you murdering cancer.

Gl with your formal complaint. While I think you're being completely obsessive, I too have had friends and family pass from cancer, but to take this to heart is a bit much.

I'd like to say that much respect to you for successfully fighting off cancer. However I don't find this offensive I've sadly lost family to cancer and it is horrible and unfortunate. I don't think anyone here is making light of the struggles you and many other have had to endure. Cancer has the astrological symbol of a crab which makes sense for the fate. Yes maybe the achievement title may be a bit crass however you're choosing to give power to those words and choosing to take offense to them. I understand the sensitivity to the issue but in the end you're assigning the offensive qualities to the name.

I'd like to note that i'm not trying to undercut your hardship. I do have the utmost respect towards you in regards to your continuing struggle. If your complaint goes through and its changed, then great If not, I just hoped to offer my perspective about how i avoid getting offended. In the end we choose to get angry or upset and must decide how long we want to feel that way.
