Im glad SE is giving us all this free time but its pushing back the timeline of getting our vet rewards :(. They should give us the option to be charged now but the monthly cycle wont start till the free time is over.

You can get them if you register time to your account using a pre paid game card, other than that you'll have to wait for the free period to end.
Unfortunately the game cards aren't available in the US yet. More info:

I'm just hoping I can get the Ahrimin for Halloween...
So do we know if you can still get the rewards for 60 and 90 days even if you pay monthly? I may not be able to grab the 90 day upfront but would still like to see the rewards eventually (even if it does take longer)
As has been said, only way is through Square's own prepaid card, which is currently Japan only. We're unlikely to ever see the cards given the processes involved differ greatly between Japan and the rest of the world.
EU here. I can see them on ebay and amazon. I'm going to Eurogamer next week, am hoping to see them on the SE shop.
Don't they all work for everyone? Or does it have to be an NA specific game card? Because I've seen people with vet rewards on NA servers.
Well there aren't NA servers, you've seen people with them on NA/EU servers because we share.
The card has to match your account type. EU cards do not work on NA accounts. Anyone with a vet reward at this stage is someone with an EU account, though that doesn't mean they live in EU necessarily, they just created their account with the EU url. I for example had an EU account for beta access because I had a beta code that would only work with an EU account. Later I created an NA account for phase 4 when the characters were getting wiped. If i had kept using my old account I would have been able to buy an EU card for my EU account while living in NA.
It is such a weird system, the way they put in these limits.
The rewards are cumulative
If you look at your mog station>>>optional service>>>account options>>>details it will explain it all.Quote:
Accumulated Subscription Days
Accumulated Subscription Days" refers to the total number of days subscribed to your service account, rather than actual play time.
This total will not be reset.
Selecting 30 days for your first subscription purchase will grant you the Rank 1 Veteran Rewards automatically.
Purchase of an additional 30 day subscription will bring your total up to 60 days, granting you the Rank 2 Veteran Rewards.
