Character Name change, please clarify this!

SE is giving 1.0 player another chance to change their name. Here is a rule that i would like to be clarified

-Please note that once you receive the Character Name Change Screen, you will no longer be able to choose the same name your character currently possesses; you will have to choose a different name. Please be aware of this when you submit your request.-

If you want to change only your surname, will you be able to keep the same first name as before the change, or both name need to change ?

I believe there won't be any problem if you want to change the surname only. The issue occurs only if you want to keep both the same name and surname.

That's what i think too, but with SE you never know :p and i want to be certain since i don't mind that much for my surname but i really don't want to change 1st name.
