level 50+ recipe HQ rate.

In the previous 1.0, there was a time where you usually get near 100% HQ synthesis chance if you provide all HQ ingredient.

However, in 2.0 may be I can only get it around 25% at most, I m not sure if I do anything wrong though. I wonder how is everybody else doing? How many % of HQ you usually get before finish the synthesis? what is your gear, stat and skill ?

I wonder if people can still doing 100% HQ chance as in the past or not. I see JP synthesis HQ stuffs so often though near the retainer area.

How many crafting classes do you have to 50, and which ones are they if not all of them.

I have all at R50. I always be able to make HQ success rate to 100% before A realm reborn, but now from previously tried, even with all HQ materials, I usually get it around only 25% HQ rate for the R50 recipe. (best try was somewhere around 30%s HQ rate)

I think you need to play around with your skill rotation and possibly improve gear.

On things up to 45-50 I have around 90%++ HQ rate with NQ materials. For one star recipes I usually add 1-2 HQ materials (to start with 300-600 quality) and the rest NQ and I get like 80-90% HQ most of the time.

lol that's like asking for a trade secret. here's a hint though: get lots of CP (340+) and add materia to be able to do 2 star recipes without food. on 2 star recipes i can start with maybe 1-2 hq mats and get 100% hq rate. 1 star and below 0 hq mats but still 100% hq rate.

skill rotation > cp > control > craftsmanship

Well hardly trade secret is it. (its a game :S)

It's not like I don't know how to craft HQ items, I just wana see what other people are doing.

there's still a market in the game and if everyone knew how to hq then the market would be overrun with hq and prices would drop. eventually everyone will figure out the rotation i'm sure because it just takes practice. but it is only the beginning so people want to line their own pockets first. also it is hard to use people's rotation as it is heavily dependent on gear.

for me i have triple-quadruple melded accessories and belt (so i can use cross class) and then some materia on each of my hq crafter af set. most of it is cp and alot of the people i know haven't even broken 300 cp.

keep at it and you'll find the perfect rotation (it is also very dependent on condition and how long you can prolong everything)

Same, I got 328CP in the end which is just the sweet spot for my skill rotation. I am too lazy to hit the cap on CP at the moment as there is nothing that requires you to have that.

Also quite honestly, prices for HQ gear are dropping like crazy already, people on my server undercut you by 5-20k multiple times a day
