Renaming characters

Is there a way to rename characters?

If not, will there be?

No and (most likely) no.

I would say the only way (unless there's a membership reward) would be to create a character with the same name on another server and then when server transfers become available to transfer onto that same server where you'd be forced to change the name... That's assuming world transfers will allow this in the first place...
