Do we have a date for server transfers?

I remember seeing seeing a rough timeframe somewhere for when we'll be able to transfer, but I can't seem to find even that.

When should I expect to be able to transfer my characters that I had to create on different worlds from my friends? Would I be better off making everyone recreate on a new server, or will this be in the near-ish future.

Also, is there a date for transferring legacy characters? Even if I had to forfeit all trade-able items and currency, I hate having to keep it geared and up-to-date just to transfer it later.

So far it says mid-sept. I know your pain, I got like 4 buddies trying to get on my server that hasn't left the list. (Hyperion)
