Patcher Issue

Hello everyone,

Im hoping someone can lend me a hand as I cant seem to find an answer for this anywhere. ( If it is easily available and I'm blind I apologize ahead of time)

Since the new patch has rolled out I cannot update my launcher or the game. I have also had an insanely difficult time logging (besides the general 1017 and 2002 errors)

I believe this is happening due to the download link I used to get the launcher as I have already purchased FFXIV 1.0 when it first released. Does anyone know if there is a link to download the game besides this one?

The 1017 and 2002 were other issues doubt your client was affecting that. Are you getting errors with the patcher?

Yeah, the error states

Unable to update patch files
[11005][20879]

sometimes it lists those two files. Sometimes there are as many as 5 missing files

Anyone find a work around for this? I have even gone the length of downloading someones complete folder and due to having an improper launcher version It will still not operate correctly. Does anyone have a proper link for downloading the patcher client?

So for an update if anyone is following this, It seems the errors are inconsistent and rotate. Sometimes the patcher gets farther sometimes it doesnt.

Anyone having these issues still?

Please restart final fantasy: a realm reborn(beta version). [11006] [20641] [20643]

Any help would be great.

Try going to your My Documents Folder, my games, then the final fantasy folder. Delete your beta folder and try running the updater. Make sure to backup whatever folder or files you plan on deleting in the case you want to put them back if it does not work.

Same errors and symptoms. So far everything that has been suggested I have done and nothing works. Infuriating when this worked perfectly, for all previous update prior to yesterdays....

I'm having the same problem. I usually get as far as about 1000.7 MB but not always if my download speed is slower than normal. I downloaded the last patch but I had similar problems. I thought the solution was deleting all the files in My Games but I tried it again with no luck. My error code is nearly always [11006][20641][20643] this time.
