Error 3102 across all servers and chars?

So like every one else today who was excited to play after the long awaited patch that well... did not really seem to fix anything, I have received the dreaded Error 3102. After spending an hour trying to get back on with no luck I decided to try playing a character on a DIFFERENT server and... I got error 3012? Now how is that possible? A character I have not used for some time is apparently logged in and unable to play on a different server from my main character... Square Enix for the love of god.. fix your shit or go hire some one who can.
