Channels why not - World Full Fix ?

We have seen AAA MMO's using Channels to separate de users, and giving "slots" to the same world/server.

I'm wondering why SE, FFXIV:ARR Team / Yoshi_P don't implement such thing ?

I know there are some issues, like, farming Fate's, and other possible "exploits"

Can some DEV, answer this ? why not implement the "Channels" system ?

Channel systems or a minimal of an overflow is a great idea. I've been wondering the same thing myself.

Since they refuse to lock out new character creation on full worlds they'll need to do sonething of this nature.
