Alternative way to update client... (error [11006][20641][20643])

I've been having this issue while updating since Phase 4 client...

I tried all "tips" to solve this: use ccleaner, delete patch folders, no antivirus, no firewall, reinstall.... no luck. You have to try and pray to have a successful update... thats a bit annoying when you have to download 1Gb over and over and over...

Isn't there an alternative way to download the files from updates? I though in FFXIV 1.0 the cliente creates a .torrent...

Finally, i have my FFXIV client updated. I had to download a FULL FOLDER uploaded by a nice guy... it was faster to download 9.11Gb from a .torrent than 1gb patch through FFXIV Launcher...... just.... great...

I know more people have this issue and they didn't receive response from technical support.... so, please... make a "direct download folder" to download patches or .torrent files....

Can you provide a link and a explanation of what you did, please?

Just download the full game from this torrent: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vvem35ww12b1ic0/ff14.torrent. Then copy & paste on your FFXIV folder. It worked for me
