Gathering Nodes (+Yield)

Ive been wondering if their apperance is totally random per player or is it same for everyone. Also if conditions are exactly the same.

So i ran into lvl 30 BTM Logging node with extra yield in Middle La Noscea - if i remember correctly the condition for it was 119> Fire Resist. Quite helpful then it comes to shard gathering least you can get some more with Wards.

Maybe if other nodes like that exist somehwere making a compiled list could be good idea cause at least on my server shard prices are completely out of control in some cases even 70 gil per shard.

Edit: found another to the list. It seems that conditions are corresponding always with shard/crystal type.
Extra Yield nodes:

BTM - Logging lvl 30 Middle La Noscea - Fork on the road more less in middle of map - Fire Shards
BTM - Logging lvl 30 Central Thanalan - Close to East Exit of Uldah - Lightning Shards
BTM - Logging lvl 30 Central Shround - Exit to South Shroud - Wind Shards
BTM - Logging lvl 30 South Shroud - Just outside Buscarrons - Ice Shards
MIN - Quarrying lvl 30 West Thanalan - Nophica Wells Canyon - Water Shards
MIN - Mining lvl 30 East Thanalan - Past Highbridge -

I think every group of nodes always have one of the +1 yield nodes, just like they have one of the increased gathering/HQ rate when conditions are met.

I dont think thats it but i might be wrong. I thought there was some patterns as to where those nodes seem to appear but recent ones i discovered arent in close proximity to towns. Conditions so far check out to be the same - Resis>= element of shard on node. Ill try to keep the list updated as i find more.

I've found that there is a spot in North Shroud -> Peacegarden for earth shard yield. Required Botany.

I'm fairly sure that it is the level 30 nodes for each of the gathering professions that have a yield +1 of corresponding shard type. (they are also the ones you can gather pigments from)

This 'resistance > x' condition giving +1 yield is a property i've only found on the lv30 'crystal' nodes. These nodes appear anywhere you can mine crystals at lv30.

So look at your gathering log for BTN and MIN and look up crystals at lv30 and you'll have the locations for all 12 (1 for each of the 6 elements for BTN and MIN) nodes that have this. I have MIN up to 50 and i've not found another node like this.

Many places have +1 gathering attempt, but only these specific 'shard nodes' have a +1 yield.

East Shroud - (X21.Y27) - Mining - Wind Shards & Grade 2 Carbonized & Green pigment.
Eastern Thanalan (X24.Y20) - Mining - Fire Shards.

the +1 yield nodes come from the crystal/pigment locations and only those. All other locations give +1 attempt. Though, I haven't accessed level 50 nodes yet. But so far the stats need to activate any bonus, from what I noticed, is that classes natural stats at the same level as the node. Though if you need certain amounts of Gather/Perception you need close to current level gear.
