Unable to update [30413][10009][10019]

No idea why, but Im currently getting a [30413][10009][10019] error.

Anyone has any tips for what could fix it?
Torrent link so I can download it?

So far I've tried changing windows compatibility to xp sp3 and running it as admin, also just changed ie settings to default and restarded download, let's see what happens.

little rant: This update client is the worst I've seen on any game. If it was at least possible to resume from where it stopped, but no, need to download everything again from 0 even if it was needing 10mb to finish before the error (ya that already happened with me).

I am also getting this error, and I am looking for some answers! I have tried reinstalling from my disc and gone into msconfig and turned off 'startup services' and that helped (a little).

I DO NOT want to re-download the client as I am already 2GB over my monthly allowance because of client re-downloads and patches :(

So any suggestions that could help us?

Is it stopping at the same point every time?

Make sure everything final fantasy related is allowed through your firewall (mine ended up being the guide or something wasnt on the list)
Also check your ports.. SE has a list of ports that should be open for the game
Other than that... Not sure

The steps I followed on first post didnt work.
Tried now deleting all files from the "My Games" folder and starting the updater again.

There is a torrent link for an entire game client on reddit, if I can't update with the client within 2 hours I'll try the torrent.

No, it's random. Sometimes fails just at beginning, sometimes fails almost when finishing the download. I believe it's something server related tbh, if you miss 1 package instead of keep trying to download, it just freezes and gives the error.

Please make sure you seed appropriately as this is a community based thing, it's not some illegal torrent you are going to get in trouble for. Others are having the same problem!

Bump. Same three error codes I get when trying to update. Currently at work, so I'll have to recheck the firewall permissions (if that is the culprit).

A Tip to square Failix. Use the two brain cells you have left. And fix a torrent link, to the patch.
This is not some fracking rocket science. So I think even you can do this...

I finally got it to update after deleting everything from the Documents/MyGames/FFfolder, the updater asks you to login again and the first time I tried, it updated successfully.

Edit: If you want to try this, I suggest that you copy your folder to another place (or just rename something like BACKUPFF) so that the game wont find it. If anythign goes wrong you can just revert it back.

I went home at lunch (from work) and finally managed to get the game to start the 1 GB update. I followed some of the suggestions people in this thread stated.

1. Made sure antivirus software was off.
2. Disabled firewall (though I did enable FF as a good program)
3. Right clicked the FF icon to initiate the game as system administrator (Windows 7 64-bit)
