videocard went overdrive after installing patch and playing

Just now i logged into the game after installing the new patch, walked outside the town then suddenly mine videocard went overdrive making a lot of noise like a vacuumcleaner then the monitor showed nothing. I quickly plugged out the powercable to prevent any permanent damage to mine pc.

I had to restore mine system to make the noise go away, right now i'm downloading the patch again. will keep you guys updated after second try.

I never had this problem before the patch.

your card model?? any other changes?? your driver version???
