frame rates with this recent patch

[SOLVED]
so i'm on Ifrit JP

GTX 570 SOC/ i5 2500k @ 4.4ghz
CPU/GPU are both running under 50c.. plenty of HDD space, windows classic mode

using 326.80 beta drivers... soo i'm about to try new drivers

i went from having 70-120 frames average to like, 12 frames... if i turn off EVERYTHING i get 30 frames... new patch locked priority level in task manager

not sure hey

i rolled back to 314.22 and my frames are back to normal, 32x.xx not so good

I am having the same issue.

Using 5850 radeon HD.
i5 760 at 2.6 ghz quad

Anyways, before today even during p3, and p4, even at release i was not getting this low fps. dipping down to 10 or so. i was using same settings.

Used to be around 40-50 fps.

will try updating my drivers to the "beta" version, since its already latest now.

Amd Users. Change your Power Control Settings to 0 and Back to +20.

I use AMD, but what do you mean power control settings? is it in catalyst?

No, it doesnt help. FPS still jumping from 59-60 (limited) to 5 after some little time of playing.

Performance>ClockControls>AMD OverDrive ---> Power control settings

Left side: Performance> AMD OverDrive ---> Power control settings

I know how to get to overdrive, but the option is not there. Only clock speeds and fan control.

Anyways, good news is the new 13.8 Beta drivers put my frames to normal. For how long, i dont know.
