Would it be possible to implement some sort of tab targeting to target friendly un-grouped players for healers, In the same way DPS can use tab to target enemy's.

I've wished we could do this. It's frustrating as a healer to be able to tab easily from mob to mob, but not from pc to pc.

Guys like most conventional mmos there's F1-F12 targetting

use F2-F5 to target your party teammates.

In fact if you haven't utilized this technique already I'm a bit worried for your party members.

That's fine if you are in a party but I think the OP is referring to fate party healing, I could be wrong.

I still duno why they didn't auto party for fates. :S

There is. In character settings. I'm not online right now so can't say exactly what tab, but there are target filters. The active filter (for tab targeting) is displayed just above your hp bar. You can make custom filters to include enemies/friends/npcs/etc. what to watch out for, that I personally turn off, is the changing of filters based on weapon drawn/sheath. Further more these filters can be key bound to allow quick filter changes to your tab targeting.
