Unable to complete version check. - After patch from 04/09/13

"Unable to complete version check. [30410][30607][20457][409]"
This is just when I hit login, before I can actually download the patch.

This same error a lot of people got last time.. the fix was to get someone elses boot folder and replace it with your own.. Does not work this time.

Anyone else having this issue or know of a solution?

I have tried:
Restarting computer/router
Reset my account password
Run as administrator
Run with compatibility mode
Reinstall the game
Grant full access to 'everyone' for the square enix install directory.
Change the date in ffxivboot.ver to an older date to force launcher to repatch
No antivirus
Firewall switched off

Is the maintenance over? Still shows world down for me.

The game will be down for maintenance for about another three hours.

I had a 1027 meg update but the launcher still says down for maintenance.

Didn't get any error message.

Are you connecting through a proxy?
Have you made sure that your Windows is fully updated?
Tried resetting IE settings to default?
Are you running any browser security addon like bullguard or zonealarm?
Are you running any download manager addon?
Are you running NetLimiter or similar tools?

I got that error and then closed the launcher and re-opened it and that prompted me to download the update. Although considering what you said you tried I assume you've already done that...

have you tried updating your internet explorer ?
