PS3 wrong registration : Who has yet to merge with PS3 and PC(v1.0/legacy/arr)

I know its been a frustrating week for all, and i feel the same, I have read alot of forums and google with equivalent time, I think its time i find out who is also facing the same problem as i am. If there is anyone else who have had the problem solved please do say so.

P.S. This thread is only for PS3 users, no PC tyvm~;)

I have my service account from 1.0 CE days, and have ARR access with "Welcome back" campaign of few days to go. I purchased PSN digital standard copy on 28th Aug and has not been successful to get on PS3 version due to "No valid service account" error despite I can play on Windows just fine.

My only worry now is, if the PS3 Standard (digital copy) is successfully added to my Service Account as another platform, I hope it will not muck up my CE status as I have seen it happened to some.

I dont think it will, just curious, when you attempt to set it on ps3 did you recall whether if you set it to service 1 or new service? Cos im pretty sure i set it to service account 1 but ended up with a service account 3 at the end of the day

I'm in this boat. Got through to live support sept 3rd around 4PM. Hopefully we have this fixed soon... considering how badly this has been handled so far. Being blamed for this, and then on top of that the support staff saying the form we filled out was pointless....

AFAIK, as my SEN was previously tied to SQEX during the Beta 3. The once-through during the initial boot up of the PS3 client, I had 2 buttons - one for existing Square Enix Account, and another for create new Square Enix Account. I picked the first one of course and login successfully and for some weird reason, it went spasm. Quit the client and came back on, and from then one, I only ever get the first button "I currently possessed a Square Enix Account" and the SQEX ID is my ID and it's greyed out. After a success log in, it just goes to "No valid service account" error.

I have tried removing the game client twice, and removed the saved game data as well, did not make any difference. So I'd imagine, the SEN-SQEX IDs were linked up fine but for some reason it doesn't see or get the knowledge from SQEX that I have any service account. Yet I can play fine on my Windows client and I only see one FFXIV service account in my Mog Stations.

zzzzz yours sound very complicated. Must be something to do with ps3 and square enix registration problem. At least your still lucky that you can play on pc, Im really not going to buy a laptop just to play a game honestly, no matter how hardcore i am

Why did they say its pointless? Cos SE and PSN are seperate issue?

Has anyone gotten ps3 north american problem solved yet?

Nope, think only some EU players have. Still waiting on a fix here, NA PS3 user.

I still feel personally they have forgotten about Na ps3 players....or choose to ignore...or psn giving lots of issue to prevent it from being fixed I guess
